In the first phase of the project, the street artists lived and got to know the Borgo of Latera through an artist residency, where they explored the most suitable walls to imagine and create their works. They also engaged deeply with the local community through conversations with residents, stories of historical anecdotes, photographs, and local memories.

At the end of the project, the works will remain in their place of origin, as they were specifically designed and created for that very location. This will result in a collection of contemporary art that will be placed in various spots, creating a museum diffuso (a widespread museum). All proposals will be gathered in detailed maps, available both online and on recycled paper, enhancing and enriching the local tourism offer.
The driving idea behind the Latera project is rooted in the village’s history, its small artisan shops, now vanished, its many small houses clustered closely together, and the beautiful chestnut grove framing it all.

In these videos, we introduce some of the people behind the scenes of the project: European Designer Raffaella Rossi, the Mayor of Latera Francesco Di Biagi, the Director of the Museo della Terra Marco D’Aurelio, artists Emeid, Loste, and Elisa Capdevilla, along with our creative team. Thanks to all these individuals, this ambitious project became a reality—an open-air museum featuring street art, sculptures, and installations aimed at transforming a nearly uninhabited village, lacking schools or hospitality structures, into an attractive destination for tourists and new businesses. For the Latera The Art Farm project, we managed the artistic and creative direction. We designed the residency to provide artists and all involved professionals with a global yet intimate vision of this small village and its community. By immersing ourselves in the daily lives of the locals, we created a unique environment where artists could experience and share truly special moments.
