U-Miles entrusted Square Studio with the visual design of their innovative product "Green Spot," a self-powered and customizable charging station born from the need for more charging stations for sustainable micro-mobility and independent green oases. Street Art was chosen as the artistic technique to make each charging station a unique work of art. The aesthetic and conceptual research of the artists was linked to the product's functionality and its relationship with nature and its forces.

The smart speed bump designed by U-Miles uses a modular technology composed of several moving pieces in direct contact with the road. When a vehicle slows down and hits these pieces, they lower and then return to their original position thanks to a guided spring system. The various modules are arranged along the length of the bump so they can be activated even if the vehicle doesn't pass directly over the center of the bump. Each module features a mechanical system that transfers the kinetic energy received from the vehicle to a linear generator. This generator, using the principle of electromagnetic induction, converts the movement into electrical current, which is then stabilized and stored in a battery ready for use.
