The multi-year project aims to create an Environmental Art Park within the historic agricultural estate of Torre Mammona, a place where art, nature, and innovation merge in continuous dialogue.
In this first edition, artists Francesco Penci, Pietro Vitali, and Nicola Ghirardelli, assisted by curator Marcella Cattaneo, explored the territory of Assisi in all its diverse facets, delving into it from historical, spiritual, cultural, and morphological perspectives. The residency brought to life the artists' works, designed to be site-specific and in constant dialogue with the very place itself.

The ambitious goal of this project is to create a space open to the public, where visitors can enjoy an ultra-contemporary vision of reality, through the involvement of young artists from both Italy and abroad. Every year, three artists are selected to create a permanent environmental artwork. Collectively, the artworks will form a sculpture park, which will grow and evolve with the installation of new pieces, like a continuous becoming.
Torre Mammona, a fragment of the Assisi landscape, with its nature that is both overwhelming and tamed in the uninterrupted expanses of olive groves, has become an environment of residence, welcoming and generating interventions in environmental art.
